East African Ministries: If you are donating to our general fund, donating to a special fund, or providing a gift to your sponsored child, your donation allows us to directly impact children and families living in poverty in East Africa.  General donations are applied to operational needs locally and in Africa. Local expenses include insurance, legal advice, marketing and accounting. Local staff in the US are all volunteers. All other general donations are applied to supplement educational needs, medical support and food needs that are not adequately covered by child sponsorship. General donations have also been applied to water wells, storm relief, medical emergencies and other unanticipated needs in Africa. African administrative costs are limited to 10-15% of total support, with the exception of the school in Burundi which is funded by Hope Milele Africa.

By scrolling down under the donation button you can make a gift to our general fund, post a gift to your sponsored child or donate to other projects we may post if the need arises (as we did in Peru and Ukraine). If desired you can also cover donation processing fees.

Hope Milele Africa is a 501(c)(3), religious charitable non-profit.  IRS Tax ID #81-4160823.  Donations are  deductible to the degree allowed by law and each persons individual tax situation.
